The Marketplace Guidelines

The aim of thePROhundred Marketplace is to provide users with a tool that enables them to advertise their services as a footballer, find new players for their team, buy or sell equipment and source sponsorship from local businesses.

In order to ensure a safe, fun and useful service to all members we have a number of guidelines which you should be aware of.

Listings

All listings should include a fair and accurate description in order to allow users to make an informed decision when they choose to reply.

No duplicate listings. We only allow 1 listing for a particular item, player or service. Please don't post the same listing (even if re-worded!) more than once either in the same category or across multiple categories. If there are a few possible areas for your listing then please choose the most relevant. Any duplicate listings will be removed and if you continue to post duplicates we may decide to terminate your account without notice. If you want your listing to appear back up to the top of the listings then remember that you can simply repost it.

Please select the location which is geographically closest to you. Listings will only be accepted that are geographically specific and locally relevant. If someone is looking for a player or team in Greater London, for example, they would select Greater London from the drop-down menu.

Please post in the correct category as it helps both posters in reaching the right audience with their listing and helps the users of thePROhundred in finding what they want.

Please don't put a link in your listing to another website. Listing which include links to other sites will be removed.

Buying and Selling

thePROhundred is not an auction site and we therefore request that ALL "For sale" listings contain a definitive price for the item. No listings stating "highest offer accepted" or "make me an offer".

Listings must not include links to other auction sites. Any listings with links to other sites will be removed.

It is illegal to resell any tickets to professional football matches occurring in England and Wales or involving English or Welsh teams playing outside England or Wales. Please contact the FA, or the relevant Football club directly for information on exchange options available to you.

We will not tolerate any listings of anything illegal, including the following (non-exhaustive list):
* Drugs
* Weapons
* Tickets to sporting events
* Obscene/erotic items/materials
* Cigarettes or tobacco products

All listings must be relevant to thePROhundred community. If a listing is considered to be irrelevant it will be removed.

Safety

When buying or selling, you should meet in-person to see the item and exchange money. The purpose of thePROhundred Marketplace is to encourage face-to-face, local, trading. For personal ease and safety, always ensure you take someone with you. Do not invite people into your home.

Never send your item before receiving the money

Never send or wire money to sellers or buyers. This includes never mailing a cheque or using payment services like Bidpay, Western Union or Money Gram to pay for items found on thePROhundred . It is our belief that these forms of funds transfer are favoured by fraudsters.

thePROhundred doesn't offer any sort of buyer protection/ payment programs. Any emails you receive that talk about such systems are scams, even if they may have the thePROhundred logo. If you receive any emails promoting these services, please report it to us.

Never provide your personal or banking information (e.g. credit card number) to others over the Internet.

Make yourself aware of common scams and fraud. Do not believe the promise of large sums of money for your help in any task.

Report to us any attempted fraud or suspicious emails, ads, or other activity by community members. In case of fraud or illegal activity, we also recommend that you report it to the Police.

Use common sense. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Harassment
We do not tolerate harassment or abuse of thePROhundred users and take reports of this nature very seriously. If you have experienced abuse or harassment in connection to either a listing on thePROhundred or an email received from a thePROhundred user then please report it to us.

Reporting to us any suspicious activity, spam or abuse helps us keep thePROhundred safe. If you have been a victim of a scam or fraudulent attempt then we also recommend that you report it to the Police.

Termination of Accounts
We want to ensure a safe, fun and useful service to all users of thePROhundred and therefore reserve the right to remove any listing which we do not feel is appropriate for thePROhundred or which we feel is not in keeping with the spirit of the site. This includes attempts to bypass thePROhundred Premier Account messaging privileges.

Persistent infringement of thePROhundred guidelines or behavior which we deem to be inappropriate will result in the termination of your account without notice or appeal.
